Your priorities are as follows.
- Keep the blocker alive by whatever means necessary.
- Keep the harpoon line at amber clear during sync time.
- Kill anything near enough to the blocker to be a future problem.
- Kill husks
- Kill larva
- Do Crimson and Cobalt mechanics when able.
Power Defense
Any power damage focused DPS build works for this role.
Your priorities are as follows:
- Keep the blocker alive by whatever means necessary
- Keep the harpoon line at amber clear during sync time.
- Kill anything near enough to the blocker to be a future problem.
- Kill eggs.
- Kill larva.
- Help kill husks after using defiance breaks to make them vulnerable to power damage.
- Kill Vets
- Do Crimson and Cobalt Mechanics when able.
Blockers
Blockers use invulnerability and reflect abilities while standing in the exact center of the wurm, intercepting husks, eggs, and drools before they can ever hit the field.
Blocking is easy to learn, but due to the intricacies of timing and the potential chaos of an unblocked wurm, it’s best to pair up with an experienced blocker as a mentor during your training as a blocker. Make sure to reach out ahead of time or show up at least 30 minutes before the start of the event to introduce yourself, or join a recap squad after the event and talk the the organizers there to help you get started.
