Anomalies and Bugs
Valve Decap (1%)
If the wurm is at 1% or less health when the squad is eaten, you will have a “valve decap”. If this is anticipated, you should warn the other squads.
The wurm will die while the zerg is in its stomach, so it can never spit the zerg out. Since you’re kept in combat by acid damage ticks, the only solution here is to stop healing and intentionally die as quickly as possible in order to waypoint.
Other squads should send over anyone they can spare to help kill the wurm’s head.
Worm won’t recognize the bait (0 worm food despite everyone stacked)
This is a bug. It’s believed to happen if the zerg is knocked off the stack spot and quickly restacks.
